Trevor Edwards as corporate vice president of global brand management for Nike. He is also a member of the Boston Celtics. Trevor Edwards was born on March 14, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois. He attended and played basketball at the University of Virginia from 1987 to 1991. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1991. In 1992 he earned a Master’s degree from Harvard Business School and completed his MBA in 1995 at Wharton School of Business.

Edwards began his career by working for Nike Incorporated as an executive assistant to the president (1993-1995). He was then promoted to vice president of brand management (1996-1998) and vice president of Nike Incorporated (1998-2000). In 2000 he became senior vice president of global brand management while remaining with Nike Incorporated until 2003 when he joined Reebok International Ltd as senior vice president, global brand management, and marketing director for Reebok’s international operations (2003-2004).

Edwards is credited with leading the development of the Nike Air Zoom Generation and Air Max Series, the Nike Air Force 1, and the Nike Zoom Kobe VII. He also led the development of many other products, including Nike’s Jordan Brand. Edwards was also a member of the Boston Celtics. He was also named an NBA All-Star in 2001, 2003, 2007, and 2008. Edwards has been inducted into the Boston Celtics Hall of Fame (2008) and named to the MIT Sports Hall of Fame (2012).

Edwards is a very successful executive. He has had many achievements and has been inducted into many prestigious awards, such as the Boston Celtics Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the MIT Sports Hall of Fame.
