Council Advisors, LLC was formed in 2006 by Doug Haynes, who is a pioneer in private equity investing and founder of Council Advisors. Doug is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who started his own firm. He has also served as an Investment Advisor Representative of Fairfield Financial Management Co. Inc. Doug is also a past Chairman of the Board of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and a member of the board for The Haynes Foundation for Research in AIDS, Inc., the Texas Alzheimer’s Association, Needham School Fund, The American Cancer Society, Bayou Bend Preservation Trust, Houston Independent School District Foundation and The Texas Association of Business.

Rosi Cohen is responsible for providing financial advice to Council Advisors clients. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who has her own firm.
